| After your first Bikram class, what was your impression? |
What drives you to continue to practice? What keeps bringing you back? |
My introduction to Bikram Yoga was a little over two years ago. I had just given birth to my second girl and was looking for a way to shed the baby weight. I remember my first class like it was yesterday. The instructor had to help me with every position and I was exhausted even before the floor series. This was very hard for me emotionally knowing I was always
athletic and successful at most sports. |
I found this challenge invigorating and different from my usual routine of running and it gave my a chance to focus on something besides my everyday life. |

Bikram yoga is challenging! It challenges your mind, body and soul. This is what makes taking Bikram yoga so rewarding.

For all those people who are thinking of taking a class or who have just started, relax, be patient, and be open minded. Once you have your first rewarding class you won't look back!
