| After your first Bikram class, what was your impression? |
What drives you to continue to practice? What keeps bringing you back? |
| I was hooked. I couldn't wait until my next class. I was so energized I couldn't stop talking. I knew I had a life changing experience. |
I don't think I could live without it. I love the way I feel during and after each class. I love how my body is different every practice. I feel strong and flexible and can't imagine going back to the way I felt just a few months ago. |
What are some of the benefits and changes you've seen in yourself?
|
What is your favorite posture in the series and why? |
| The first benefit I saw was within a few classes I was able to look at the ceiling. Due to a neck injury 12 years ago I had limited range of motion in my neck, but not any more! My neck is great. I have gone from a size 14 to a size 10 again, but best of all I quit smoking after 25 years. I was a pack a day smoker my entire adult life. One day in class I thought if I can do this yoga I can do anything so I quit. My body has changed enormously in the 3 months I have been coming to Bikram Yoga and I look forward to all the changes to come. |
Right now I have to say Rabbit pose but I like all the poses for different reasons. Rabbit is my favorite because the first time I did it I knew this was going to heal my neck, I wanted to stay in the pose forever.

| What is your greatest challenge about the yoga? Yourself? |
What advice can you give to a 1st timer after they complete the class? |
| Not judging myself, being patient. I find myself thinking why can't I reach my heels but then I remember to be patient with myself it will happen. |
Drink lots of water and come back. The classes are hard but they get easier and your body will change so fast you won't believe it. |
