| After your first Bikram class, what was your impression? |
What drives you to continue to practice? What keeps bringing you back? |
| I have taken other types of yoga and my impression of Bikram Yoga was that it made me feel more grounded and relaxed. I also liked how my body felt. I have a bad back and sometimes my fingers get numb when I am out of alignment. Going to Bikram Yoga has made my back and body feel better. |
I don't go as aften as I probably should, but again what keeps me coming back is how good it makes my body feel. It also has done a lot for my mind. I teach fourth grade and sometimes teaching can push me over the edge. It is a constant job where I am on my feet all day, or on the floor working and the students demand my attention the whole time I am at school. Going to Bikram Yoga has honestly given me a calmer outlook. I have been able to handle the stress of my job much better. |
What are some of the benefits and changes you've seen in yourself?
|
What is your favorite posture in the series and why? |
| I have been told I look skinnier, but I don't see a difference. The best benefit is the stress relief and diminished back pain. |
I can't remember what it is called, but it is when you sit on your heels and your hands and head get lowered to the ground and you keep your arms straight and try to press your hips down. It stretches out your shoulders and back...Rabbit Pose maybe.

| What is your greatest challenge about the yoga? Yourself? |
What advice can you give to a 1st timer after they complete the class? |
| My greatest challenge for both the above is pushing myself more so that I will improve my ability in the class. |
Come back!! |
| Is there anything you would like to add? |
|
I am glad that I do yoga and I hope I can push myself to go to more classes.
