After your first Bikram class, what was your impression? |
What drives you to continue to practice? What keeps bringing you back? |
| I had no idea what I had just been through (or what I got myself into) and hated my friend for introducing us, but just as in blind dates and most relationships that have a rocky start... I knew I was in love! |
It seems like the moment I take a break everything that use to hurt before I took yoga (upper back ache, ankle aches, hip aches) all come back to haunt me. What could be better than Therapy, Meditation, Sauna and Massage all wrapped into one - one stop shop to keep the stress and pain out of your life. Not to mention the deep defrost during the winter months! |
What are some of the benefits and changes you've seen in yourself?

What is your favorite posture in the series and why? |

I feel in the best shape I have every been in - even better than when I was working out 6 days a week in the gym. I drop weight easier, eat less, feel happier, don't stress, sleep better, breathe better, live better with myself in the body that I have. |
Which ever one I can fully get into on the day of class. It changes every time! |
What is your greatest challenge about the yoga? Yourself? |
What advice can you give to a 1st timer after they complete the class? |

Looking at myself in the mirror for 90 minutes without judgement. |
Don't give up - even if you hated it. Its all about the breath! Learn and focus on the breath - in and out through your nose the entire class - and the rest will come in time. |
