What is your favorite posture in the series and why? |

I have been practicing for 3 1/2 years. My spinal health has never been very good. After I moved to California 2 years ago, my practice became sporadic. While moving again in July 2005, I injured my back, herniating a disk, pulling my sacroliliac ligament, and reducing myself to the use of a cane. Numerous visits to chiropractors and medications did not help for long, as sitting at work in my office chair would exacerbate the injury, and after times of being fine it would pop out again unexpectedly. I decided to begin practicing yoga at least 3 times per week, trying for 5. Within a few weeks my pain was gone, and has never returned! Bikram yoga has made my back the healthiest and strongest it has ever been. |
Triangle is my favorite pose because it is the biggest challenge and there is always something to tweak in your posture. Though Rabbit is the best for my spine! |
What is your greatest challenge about the yoga? Yourself? |
What advice can you give to a 1st timer after they complete the class? |

Getting there. Once you are halfway through the class, you are so glad you came. |
Don't worry, it won't get any easier, but you'll get stronger! |
Is there anything you would like to add? |
